Receipts
Every change comes with a receipt.
Whatever Cadence changes, it says so in one line under its reply, with Undo beside it for 24 hours. Press Stop while it is answering and the reply ends right there.

Asks first
Small things it does. Bigger things it asks.
Logging a set or swapping a dinner just happens, with a receipt. A change to your program arrives as a card that shows exactly what moves, and nothing changes until you tap it.
Program change
A change to Upper Lower
You said: "The squat rack is always taken at my gym, use the leg press"
- Lower A: Barbell Back Squat → Leg Press
- Lower B: Barbell Back Squat → Leg Press
It applies from your next session. Workouts already logged stay as they are.
Suggestion
Slept about five hours. Feeling beat up.

Question
Which of these do you have?
A tap answers it. No message, no back and forth.
Memory
It remembers what you tell it. It forgets when you ask.
Tell it about your knee once and it keeps it, across months and both devices. Ask it to forget and it is gone, with a receipt. Your whole account can be deleted from the web or your iPhone.
Remember that my left knee does not like deep lunges
Noted. I will keep that in mind from here on.
Saved to memory: "Left knee does not like deep lunges"
You can forget the knee thing, it is fine now
Done, it is gone.

Questions
Before you ask it anything.
Can it change my plan without asking?
Small, everyday changes happen when you ask for them: logging a set or a meal, swapping a dinner, adding to the grocery list. Each one comes with a receipt and Undo for 24 hours. Changes to your program arrive as a card that shows what moves, and nothing changes until you tap Make this change.
Does the coach work on my Apple Watch?
The conversation lives on the web and your iPhone. The watch app is for doing the work: logging sets, cardio and mobility, notes, meals and your grocery list, and everything it logs shows up in the same plan.
Where do the numbers come from?
Targets, portions and progression are worked out from your own logs by the same code the app screens use. The coach explains them and makes the changes you ask for; the math itself is plain code, not the model.
What does it remember, and can I delete it?
It keeps the things you tell it that matter for your plan, like what you are working around and what you like to eat. Ask it to forget something and it is removed. You can also delete your whole account yourself, on the web or your iPhone.
What if I mention something worrying about my health?
Some words, in chat, in notes or on the watch, get a plain message suggesting you get it checked, with crisis lines where they apply. Cadence is not a medical service and does not diagnose anything.
